Innovative ingredients, new flavours, and advanced technologies in the food and beverage ingredients industry are on display at Food Ingredients Vietnam, which opened on Wednesday in HCM City.
After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Food Ingredients (Fi) Vietnam expo will return in October, offering a gateway to the country’s thriving food and beverage ingredients market.
The 2017 Fi Asia, a mega exhibition, is expected to attract over 750 companies from 56 countries showcasing food ingredients (Fi) and technologies and innovations for the food and beverage industry.
While Muslims are a minority in Viet Nam, the halal food industry here
has great potential, Abdullah Abdulrohman, director of the Halal Viet
Nam Export and Import Co Ltd, said.
Like other countries in Asia, Viet Nam is a
potential market for food ingredient producers and suppliers, according
to over 100 companies from 16 countries and territories who are taking
part in the Food Ingredients Viet Nam 2014 (Fi Viet Nam 2014) expo.
Nearly 100 enterprises in the food and beverage industry are showcasing
their products at the first Food Ingredients Viet Nam 2014 Expo that
opened yesterday at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM
